"The Derriere twins scandalized even the more risque leaning elements of the Belle Epoque with their daring cancan act. They preformed the entire set with what the audience assumed were heavily padded bloomers, only to pull their comical looking undergarments at the last moment and reveal their enormous rears were 100% real. A shock so severe it sometimes caused grown men to faint."
